A road and mountain ride is here for this year's Tour de Fun. What else? Our Beer Garden afterwards is at the GPP Cycling and Multisport Patio! All on Saturday, June 17.
The 2017 Tour de Fun will include a new event, Mountain Biking at beautiful Lake Atalanta. The newcomer to the Northwest Arkansas mountain bike scene, Lake Atalanta is fast becoming a regional favorite for its scenic and fast single-track. Loop around the lake or hit spur trails populated with swooping bridges, steep short climbs and gravity cavities. Starting downtown Rogers, cycling less than a half a mile on the road, passing by the crazy fun Rail Yard, you enter into Lake Atalanta Park. The mountain bike ride will be about 9-10 miles total.
Here is a link for you to see an overview and the family friendly fun at Lake Atalanta Park and here is a map of all the trails there:All the trails at Lake Atalanta
On Saturday we’re bringing back the fun & challenging 100k and 50k bike rides! Rides start on 1st and Cherry Street, downtown Rogers. Finish off the ride with a refreshing brew from our Core Brewing Beer Garden on the GPP Cycling and Multisport Patio!
Please bring your families for a fun finish line – we’ll have kid’s activities!!
The Tour de Fun is TASC's biggest annual fundraiser held every year to help TASC continue in its support of local teens. Without your participation in this event, hundreds of teens in NWA would go without accessible counseling, resources, and service opportunities. We are so grateful to be able to provide our services to more teens each year - thank you for your commitment to the Teen Action and Support Center and to our community.
Parking for Saturdays events will be in and around downtown Rogers.
Events will be chip timed.
All cyclists must wear fastened helmets. All passing on bike ride will be to the left. All handle bars must have end plugs. The bike course is not a closed course. All cyclists are expected to follow traffic rules.
