Event Description:

Sprint the Bend Triathlon powered by EVERYMAN SERIES. It's a course you are familiar with and have most likely raced before. EVERYMAN continues a tradition of the fast and fun this course and venue provides. 


Sprint the Bend is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned Sprint Distance Triathlon consisting of a 500 yard counter clockwise triangular open water swim at Horseshoe Bend in Beaver Lake.  The 15 mile bike ride is on Hwy 94-Pleasant Ridge Rd-New Hope Rd-Monte Ne Rd back up the infamous CHICKEN HILL on Hwy 94 back to Horseshoe Bend Park Recreational Area before transitioning to a 5K run through the beautiful campsite/park area.   


Finisher medals and age group awards will be presented.


Registration fee includes t-shirt and parking.

Event TIME: 7:30am

Location: Horseshoe Bend Park 

  • Event Schedule:
  • 5:30 a.m. Transition Opens
  • 6:50 a.m. Transition Closes
  • 7:00 a.m. National Anthem and Pre race meeting
  • 7:30 a.m. First Wave Starts


Waves will be every 3 minutes and assigned.  


Race Cut Off Times:

-Swim Max: 30:00 (6:00/100m)
-Bike Max: 1:30:00 (10.0 mph)
-Run Max: 1:00:00 (20:00/mile)
-Total time: 3:00:00


This course is an open course. All traffic laws must be followed. Police will be at key busy intersections to direct traffic.  Volunteers will be on the course to direct you.

Arrival Info: Allow your self time to park, acclimate to the area and transition, etc.

Parking: Please see your race packet for parking instructions

Waviers and ID: ALL waivers must be signed. An ID and USAT membership is necessary to register and compete.  You may purchase a USAT membership online or at packet pick up only, not race morning.
